Kyla Dayton
Associate Attorney
Kyla is an associate attorney at Jeff Lewis Law. She handles First Amendment cases and appeals. Kyla has argued before the California Court of Appeal twice, winning both times, and has drafted and argued dozens of anti-SLAPP motions protecting her clients’ free speech rights.
Motivated by a strong desire to advocate for the voiceless, Kyla attended Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon where she focused on animal law civil litigation. She has published an article titled “A Critical Moral Dilemma Within Animal Law Impact Litigation” and remains passionate about the intersection of law and animal protection. Kyla brings hands-on experience from all stages of litigation and is committed to fighting hard for her clients.
When she’s not advocating for her clients or animal rights, you can catch Kyla spending time with her husband and their rescue dog, Gator (short for litigator).
